Lease Information
The County of Glenn will lease the land for $.01 per square foot per month for up to 25 years with an automated renewal for another 25 years. A copy of a model lease can be downloaded by clicking on the following link:
Glenn County Commission Policy (Revised March 17, 2008)
Individuals who refer prospects to the County which ultimately execute land leases at the Orland Airport Industrial Park will be eligible for a fee equal to 5% of the land lease value. The land lease value is the sum of the lease payments to be made in the initial lease term, excluding any renewal options.
To be paid this fee, individuals must have executed with the prospective lessee a lease commission agreement similar to the most recent version of California Association of Realtors Form LCA-11 or other form acceptable to and filed with the County prior to negotiations between the prospective lessee and the County. County shall confirm in writing the acceptance of the commission agreement and commitment to reimburse lessee upon consummation of a lease with the County.
The 5% commission shall initially be paid by lessee. Upon fulfillment of all conditions required by County and the Federal Aviation Administration, confirmed in writing by County, then County will reimburse lessee for the commission paid initially under this policy.
If the lessee, for any reason, fails to satisfactorily fulfill any required conditions then the County, in its sole discretion, may withhold some or all of the commission reimbursement to the lessee.
