A wide variety of programs are available to Glenn County residents including programs designed to meet the needs of the general public and those with special transportation needs.

Transportation assistance such as Glenn Trans (dial-a-ride) service, volunteer medical transport and Cal Works "ride to work" programs are special service programs. Glenn Ride is the public transportation fixed route bus system with seven round trips every weekday and three round trips on Saturday from Willows to Chico with enroute service to Artois, Orland and Hamilton City. Glenn County Transportation Commission Streams Live Meetings Online - continuing its commitment to public meeting accessibility and transparency in government the Planning & Public Works Agency has added another of its functions to the web. In addition to the Glenn County Board of Supervisors meetings the Planning & Public Works Agency streams Planning Commission, Local Agency Formation Commission and now Transportation Commission and Regional Transit Committee meetings. Glenn Ride continues to experience an increase in ridership; overall ridership for fiscal year 2008/2009 is 64,376 compared to 55,297 for fiscal year 2007/2008. This amounts to 16% increase in ridership—9,079 additional riders. Glenn Trans-For Willows the ridership was 15,801 compared to 16,975 for the same time frame last fiscal year-1,174 fewer riders. This amounts to a decline of 7% in ridership. For Orland, the ridership was 6,421 compared to 6,697 for last fiscal year-275 fewer riders. This amounts to a decline of 4% in ridership. Volunteer Medical Transport-the ridership for fiscal year 2008/2009 continues to decline and was 15% less as compared to previous fiscal year—ridership for 2008/2009 was 1,544 and last fiscal year was 1,822—278 fewer riders.
